For every PS3 gamer out there (and only for you because its exclusive), you should get Heavy Rain, it's my new favorite game and beats everything you've ever seen.
It's basically an interactive movie and works with Quick Time events, but hey, these quicktime events rock: For example, press a button in the right time, press multiple buttons simultaneously, doing slow moves with the Sticks and of course: SIXAXIS! :D
The combination of these controls redefines the word Quicktime event very much (not only, kinda a mix of that and Games where you look at the world from certain camera angels and not only focused on the character) and it makes it a very enjoyable way to interact with the world.
If you played Farenheit, then you MUST get Heavy Rain, it's the second "interactive movie" game from them after Farenheit. Imagine Farenheit with killer story, VERY VERY great graphics (prove that resolution doesn't say how a game looks, it's 720p but the graphics are the best of all-time) and the best soundtrack of a game I've ever heard. The combo of the last three will certainly provide a perfect atmosphere. By the way, while you install the game, there will the steps displayed to build a Origami Figure (-> Origami Killer, the plot) with a laid in paper. Looks pretty good and gives you something to do while the game installs (around 4.5 GB, 10 min, enough time to fold the thing)
So if you are looking for something new, then don't read any review about Heavy Rain and just get it and start the game knowing nothing about the story but knowing that something revolutionary awaits you.
