Hey guys, do you have one of those shiny big original PS3 models or the new tiny little slim models?
I got myself the new one, lucky me because when I bought my PS3 in fall last year, I didn't even know that there was a new model just out on the same weekend I bought it. As far as I know, the big PS3 features additional Linux support and PS2 support (not all the big ones I think). The last thing might be something I miss (though I have my PS2 right next to my PS3) but I certainly won't miss the higher power need and the higher weight. Oh right, the touch buttons... Well I don't use them so often anyway :)
Take part in the poll :D

PS2 Games Support is for PS3 60Gb only, tho many PS2 games make PS3 crash
I have a Original PS3 40Gb and i like it, never tried to install Linux on it, but i think im going to give that a try

the touch buttons are *.* shiny xD

I have the slim, which means I was impervious to the "clock block" network failure that occured earlier in the week...love that name for a system failure,

extazy´s right, i also think that the ps2 slim for example runs much more unstable than the fat ps2
think of the temperatures inside of it, and i also think swapping the hdd´s will be easier with the fat one
take the fat ps3 :icon_wink:

Lol don't, it costs much more (if you are able to get it) and it has 50% more power demand, get the slim one xD
A HDD switch is as easy as with the old one.

but if they are robbing ur house, if u smash the robber's head with fat PS3, u should make much more damage xD

Haha, I was glad to have bought the 250Gb Slim last Xmas, for the very same reason: unsusceptable to the big PSN-fail of 2010. Go Slim!
Btw, the 'Uncharted' series rocks! Here's rooting for a speedy release of part 3!

hmmm true, the fat ps3 seems to run with much more troubles and bugs
if the slim is just running better or got better firmware/hardware configuration, take the slim one :icon_wink:
